J. M. BOYD, 807 S. 6th, received a telegram from Mangum, Okla., that his father, Stephen BOYD, had passed away and the body would be brought in on No. 30 tonight. Funeral services will be held at Libertyville....

Obit. Stephen BOYD, born Morgan Co., Ohio, Feb. 1, 1840, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. L. MECHUM of Magnum, Okla. Mar. 17, 1926, age 86-1-26. Married Minerva CHALFANT who died June 20, 1923.

Four children, all survive: George of Detroit, Mich.; James M. of Fairfield, Iowa; Mrs. J. C. BUCHANNAN of Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. H. L. MECHUM of Magnum, Okla. Came to Iowa when about 3 years of age.... M.E. Church
