COUNTY CORRESPONDENCE.

OBITUARY.

Victor A. ANDERSON was born in Sweden, June 28th, 1857, and came with his parents to the United States May 4th, 1868. In 1880, he was married to Nancy V. LAWSON of Jefferson county, Iowa. They were blessed with ten children-one son and nine daughters, all of whom were present at the funeral except one daughter, Mrs. Louis GOLDMAN of Los Angeles, Cal. He leaves besides his wife and ten children, a father and two brothers to mourn his death. He united with the Brethren church in 1886, was elected to the ministry September 26th, 1899, and lived a devoted christian life. He died August 22d, 1908, at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 24 days. All though his illness he was a great sufferer, but bore it with a christian patience, and died with bright hopes of a glorious resurrection. He was a kind and loving father, a devoted husband, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The funeral services were held Tuesday, August 25th, at the Methodist church in Libertyville, conducted by Elder A. Wolf of Udell, assisted by E.G. Rodabaugh. The body was laid to rest in the Fell cemetery.

(I extensively research the LAWSON/RODABAUGH lineages.)
