HUDSON FUNERAL WILL BE FRIDAY.

Batavia, Ia.---Nellie Wrenshall HUDSON, life-time resident of Jefferson County, passed away about 10 p.m. Tuesday at her home in Batavia. She had been in failing health the past six years and seriously ill the past two months. Last rites have been tentatively set for 3 p.m. (CDT) at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in the Smith cemetery north of Batavia.

Nellie Wrenshall HUDSON, 85, was born May 6, 1876, on the home place north of Batavia. She was the daughter of William and Sarah LONG SMITH. She war reared and educated in Jefferson County. In March, 1902, she was united in marriage to Edmond HUDSON. The wedding took place at Fairfield. She is survived by one son, Dewey HUDSON, Batavia; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond PRINCE, Batavia, and Mrs. L. B. DAVIS, Libertyville. Mrs. HUDSON was preceded in death by her husband who died July 27, 1953, two brothers and five sisters.
