John ZELINSKI (sic) Rites Tuesday

BRIGHTON, Ia. -- John K. ZELINSKI, 85, died Sunday at the Washington County hospital.

Services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church at East Pleasant Plain in charge of the Rev. Henry Geers. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 at the Gould and Eden Funeral home.

ZELINSKI was born in 1873 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Casper ZELINSKI. He was married to Agnes GLUCH June 20, 1893.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Thomas, Raymond and Sylvester, all of Davenport; Lawrence of Brighton; Mrs. Magdalene VAN DYKE and Anna ZELINSKI of Fairfield; and Mrs. Marie KIME, Oskaloosa. Six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive.

One infant daughter, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
