JOSEPH HOOK, an old and respected citizen, died at his residence three miles south of Brighton Mar. 7 of consumption, age 72 years. Born in Germany and came to this country in 1837. He first settled in Ohio, but came to Iowa about 30 years ago. Leaves widow and eight grown children
