SHELANGOSKI Rites Friday

BRIGHTON , Ia. -- Anthony Robert SHELANGOSKI, 62, died during sleep at his home here early today. His body was found at 7 a.m. by his daughter, Barbara Ann, with whom he made his home.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph church at East Pleasant Plain in charge of the Rev. Edward Shepherd. The Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Gould Funeral home in Brighton.

SHELANGOSKI was born Oct. 13, 1903 at Washington, the son of Peter H. and Stella ZYMSLONG (sic - ZMYSLONY) SHELANGOSKI. He was married to Mary PECH May 9, 1933.

He is survived by his daughter and his father, Peter SHELANGOSKI, Wellman. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister: Richard SHELANGOSKI, Brighton; Hubert SHELANGOSKI, Carbon Cliff, Ill.; and Mrs. Virgil MEEK, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his wife, mother and one brother.

A. R. SHELANGOSKI of Brighton dies

BRIGHTON -- Anthony Robert SHELANGOSKI, 61, of Brighton died today. He was born Oct. 13, 1902 in Washington, a son of Peter H. and Stella ZYNSLONG (sic) SHELANGOSKI.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Edward Shepherd in charge. Rosary will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Gould Funeral Home at Brighton.

Mr. SHELANGOSKI was married May 9, 1933 to Mary PECH. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Barbara Ann, at home; his father, Peter SHELANGOSKI of Wellman; two brothers: Richard L. of Brighton and Hubert R. of Carbon Cliff, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Virgil (Barbara) MEEK of Davenport.
