BATAVIA, IA. Mrs. Harvey WHITMORE, long-time resident of the Batavia community, died at 4 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia.

Born Dec. 28, 1907, in Davis Co., daughter of Leander and Victoria HENDRICKS McCLEARY; lived most of her life in the Batavia community; married Jan. 30, 1926, to Harvey WHITMORE who survives. Member of the Full Gospel Church of Batavia.

In addition to husband, is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Harold SHIPLER, Batavia, and Mrs. Ronald RUGGLES, Albuquerque, N.M.; also two sons, Ralph, Lynwood, Calif., and John, Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren and one grgrchild; three sisters: Mrs. William WHITMORE, Mrs. Loren HECK and Mrs. George MAIRET, and one brother, Ray McCLEARY, all of Batavia. Prededed in death by three sisters and one brother.
