Mrs. Theodore WHEELDON. Sarah Ann HOLMES, daughter of Hugh P. and Cynthia HOLMES, born Gallia Co. Ohio, Jan. 3, 1853, and died at her home near Batavia, Iowa, Dec. 28, 1919, aged 66-6-24 (sic). Came with her parents to Jefferson County, Iowa, when a babe of six months and lived one mile north of Batavia until she was 15 years old, going with her parents to Marion County.

Married Theodore WHEELDON in Marion County Oct., 7, 1880; two children, Mrs. Orpha E. ARBOGAST of Selma, and Homer C., at home. Christian Church. Came with her husband to Wapello County in 1896.... Interment in new Batavia Cemetery.
