BATAVIA. Mrs. Samuel PEEBLER's 90th birthday. She is one of nine children, and she and her sister Mrs. A. J. STEWART of near Libertyville, aged 71, are the only ones of those now living.

Her maiden name was Rebecca DUNN, born near E. St. Louis, Ill., in Madison County, Nov. 17, 1844. Came with her parents Mr. and Mrs. James DUNN, to Iowa in 1848, living on a farm south of Batavia. Married Dec. 26, 1861; five children, two died in infancy, and Mrs. Geo. P. ISRAEL of Eldon, John W. PEEBLER s.e. of Batavia, and Mrs. L. R. CREMER who is spending a few months with her son in San Diego, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 7 grgrchn.
