62nd WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. On Dec. 26, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel PEEBLER at their home in Batavia. All their children were present, 10 grchn present, three unable to attend; one greatgrandchild present, two unable to attend; a brother and sister of Mrs. PEEBLER, J. M. DUNN of Abingdon and his grandchildren, and Mrs. Mattie GATLIN and daughter Mrs. Faye DAVIS and children, all of Ottumwa.

Mr. and Mrs. PEEBLER were pioneers of Jefferson County, Mr. PEEBLER having been born in Fairfield, Iowa, in 1842, and Mrs. PEEBLER was born in southern Illinois in 1844. They have resided almost continuously in this county.

Their children are: Mrs. Anna PEEBLER CREMER, Mrs. Nora PEEBLER ISRAEL, and John W. PEEBLER.
