Wed 49 Years; Are Given Divorce

Fairfield, Ia. -- After having been married 49 years, a divorce decree was granted Saturday in the local district court by Judge Elmer K. Daughtery to Mrs. Mary E. HOOK, Pleasant Plain, from her husband, Matt HOOK. Mrs. HOOK is 73 and he is 77 years of age. The charge was cruel and inhuman treatment.
