PLEASANT PLAIN -- Visiting several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roman GEVOCK were Theresa GEVOCK of Iowa City, her fiance, Bart MARTINEZ of Davenport and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard MARTINEZ and Alex of Marshfield, Mass. A birthday dinner was held Sunday celebrating the July birthdays of Roman, his grandson, Chris GEVOCK and Richard MARTINEZ. Mr. and Mrs. John GEVOCK and family and Mrs. Bill GEVOCK and family of Fairfield were also present. ...

Families together for birthdays

...Mrs. Roman GEVOCK was honored for her birthday Sunday evening with a barbecue and party at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John GEVOCK and family near Fairfield. Helping her celebrate were Roman GEVOCK and Dave, Dave DUNCAN, Theresa GEVOCK of Iowa City, Mr. and Mrs. Phil GEVOCK and Mrs. Bill GEVOCK and family of Fairfield. Mrs. Phil GEVOCK made two cakes for the occasion.
