SALINA. 1965. Just west of the two “store buildings” remaining at the ”common corner” (in Buchanan Township) there yet stands, in an advanced state of disrepair, a large old house with two front doors. It is interesting to speculate as to whether this gaunt, decaying ruin may have been the “Travelers Rest” once kept by PETER HOAGLIN.
