LOST THE THIRD GAME. The third of the series of golf contests between the local team and Mt. Pleasant golfers was won by Mt. Pleasant on their grounds Friday afternoon. The Fairfield team consisted of W. G. ROSS, HARRY G. SHRINER, PROF. GEO. D. CABLE, PROF. J. S. JOHNSON, FRED and DAY HUNT, E. A. HOWARD, and R. W. LAMSON and they were accompanied by several local golfers. The final score gave the game to Mt. Pleasant by eleven up. The fourth game of the series will be played on the local links tomorrow afternoon.
