Dave and Janet JONES of rural Pleasant Plain will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Lake Darling Lodge at Lake Darling State Park near Brighton.
Janet PARCELL and Dave JONES were married on Easter Sunday 1968 at Fairfield Friends Church.
They are retired farmers, plus Mrs. JONES was a Realtor several years ago.
They raised their two children, Jim JONES of rural Fairfield and Judy JONES of Iowa City, on their farm. They also have two granddaughters.
The open house is being hosted by the couple's children. No gifts are requested, but cards and memories are welcome.
