Page 2HEISEL celebrating 100th birthday
Viola HEISEL of Stockport will celebrate her 100th birthday during an open house, hosted by her sons and their wives, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Stockport Christian Church.
Mrs. HEISEL was born April 10, 1918, in Bentondorf. She married Charles HEISEL Sr., who died after 40 years of marriage. She never worked outside of her home and was always well pleased helping her husband on the fam and raising her children. She still does her own housework, cooking and shopping, works in her flowers, and enjoys her "faithful" companion Sadie and her cats that are all named Mary. She has a very good memory and enjoys sharing those memories with family and friends.
Mrs. HEISEL's children are: Charles HEISEL and wife Lela of Stockport; Kevin HEISEL and wife Carolyn of Fairfield; Kerry HEISEL and wife Colleen of Stockport; and Kathy KRANCH and husband Doug of Marion, Ohio. She also has 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
