Page 2CONGERs celebrating 60th anniversary
Orville and Ulala CONGER of Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 1.
Ulala GARRELS and Orville CONGER were married June 1, 1957, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
The couple have two children: daughter Nanette EVERLY and husband Ken of Batavia, who were married on the CONGERs's (sic) 55th wedding anniversary at the Little Brown Church, and son Russell CONGER of Birmingham. They also have four granddaughters, one grandson and eight great-grandchildren.
Both are retired, but still work on the farm with cattle and crops.
They also are involved in many volunteer organizations in the community.
A card shower is planned for the CONGERs. Cards can be sent to 2208 Mint Blvd., Fairfield 52556.
