Jerry and Jane WHITEHURST of Ollie will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday.
Their children and grandchildren will be honoring the couple with an open house 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Hedrick Community Center in Hedrick. Family and friends are invited to help celebrate their life together. No gifts are requested.
Jane HANSON and Jerry WHITEHURST were married Nov. 6, 1966, in Forest City.
They have two children, Jill SWEENEY and husband Travis of Hedrick and Jason WHITEHURST and wife Sandy of Plymouth. They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. WHITEBURST (sic) is retired from B&B Propane, and Mrs WHITEHURST is retired from Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
