REUNIONS

FLEIG

Descendants of Johann Jakob FLEIG Sr. (1847-1928) and Anna Katharina HEISNER MARK (1843-1926) met for their 75th reunion July 31 at the Rubio Community Building, with 54 in attendance for a cooperative dinner, business meeting and ice cream.

The reunion was organized July 13, 1941, and has been held annually. The FLEIGs came to Rubio in 1874.

Family updates of six births, four marriages and three deaths were noted. The family book, which has been put on the computer by Kortney Graybill of University Place, Washington, is available to all by email. Souvenir coffee mugs, with the family crest, and notebooks to commemorate the occasion were passed out.
