HOSKINS celebrating 50th wedding anniversary

Marvin and Rita HOSKINS of Richland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.

Rita GREENFIELD and Marvin HOSKINS were married July 23, 1966, at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. The Rev. James Dendler officiated the ceremony.

The couple have lived in the Richland area for the past 50 years and farmed together.

The HOSKINSes have five children: Tracy HAMMES and husband Pat of Batavia, Stacy THOMPSON and husband Jim of Grundy Center, Ron HOSKINS and wife Amy of Richland, Brent HOSKINS and wife Mindy of Fairfield, and Cody HOSKINS of Fairfield. They also have 11 grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with their children and grandchildren at a family picnic at Lake Darling State Park near Brighton.
