PLUM celebrating birthday

A card shower is planned to help Esther PLUM of Fairfield celebrate her 90th birthday Wednesday.

Mrs. PLUM was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Story County. She was married to the late Bruce PLUM. She has been a resident of Fairfield since 1958 and has always been active in her church and community. She retired as Jefferson County clerk of court in 1988.

Mrs. PLUM has two sons, Lloyd PLUM of Tillamook, Oregon, and Stan PLUM of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
