Robert and Shirley CREEK of Batavia, who were married Oct. 6, 1949, at the Open Bible Church in Ottumwa, will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
In honor of their anniversary, their family is requesting a card shower. Cards can reach them at 203 Locust Grove St., Batavia 52533.
The CREEKs, retired from farming, are the parents of two children, Cindy BENNETT and husband Rick of Batavia and Randy CREEK and wife Carletta of Agency. They also are the grandparents of six children, the great-grandparents of nine children and great-great-grandparents of one child.
