ERICKSONs observing 60th wedding anniversary

Ken and Jeanne ERICKSON of Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday.

The couple was married May 15, 1954, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Storm Lake. After living in Las Cruces, New Mexico; Webster City, Boone and Coralville, they moved to Fairfield in 1960.

Mrs. ERICKSON worked as a registered nurse at Jefferson County Hospital while Mr. ERICKSON attended Parsons College. Later, she was a school nurse in the Fairfield Community School District for 20 years, and he worked in insurance.

The couple has four children: Steve ERICKSON and his wife Carolyn of Redmond, Washington; Dave ERICKSON and wife Marla of Cedar Rapids; Michael ERICKSON and wife Jennifer of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; and Mary Beth ERICKSON of Fairfield. They also have five grandchildren.

The family will gather during July in Holland, Michigan, to celebrate the anniversary.
