SALINA. Amon GARRETT, of Monroe, Iowa, came from the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs. PARKS (sic - PARK), with J. D. Bates, and after supper J.D. took him to Beckwith to take the train for his home. Amon, like a good many more of us, begins to look old.
