MERRIMAC, Oct. 7.

Monday, Oct. 7th, Mr. and Mrs. Mike HILDEBRAND celebrated their golden wedding. Friends and relatives to the number of 30 enjoyed the happy event.... Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Rheuban ESHELMAN; Mrs. ROUH and little daughter Florence; Mrs. H. WIGGINS and son George and daughter Ona, from Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. George PAUL, Dave PAUL, wife and child, from Brighton; Mr. John HESSER, wife and two children, from Coppock; Mr. Wm. ROSS from Hutchinson, Kans.; Mrs. Margaret McGUIRE; Miss Maggie and Charlie McGUIRE; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. HAIFLEY and daughter Effie; Mr. and Mrs. Henry SHUPPY, Frank and Ross SHUPPY, and John LYNN. There were ten children born to this happy union, eight of whom are living. Six of the children and three grandchildren were present. One daughter in california and one in Minnesota could not be at home.

Mrs. McGUIRE's brother, Wm. ROSS, leaves for Fairfield Tuesday for a few days' visit before returning to his home in Kansas.
