John L. BLAKELY, of Springview, Nebraska, is one of the old settlers who have come from a great distance to attend the reunion today. He and his father came to Jefferson County in 1841 and remained until 1870. Mr. BLAKELY and his father are both well remembered by many of the older people in Fairfield who are today greeting him with a cordiality that assures him of the heartiness of his welcome back to the old home.
