Out of the Past in Pictures

This photo from approximately 1900, submitted by Norine Septer, shows the BLUSH family, who resided in Packwood. The family later toured the world in 15 different circuses. The twin girls, Ora and Pauline, were well-respected for their gymnastic feats on the triple horizontal bars and were known as the "Loretta Twins." Both twins married trapeze artists and continued in the circus until retiring in the 1940s.
