HILL will celebrate 90 years

Glenn HILL of Fairfield will celebrate his 90th birthday Tuesday.

HILL was born and raised in Licking, Mo., until graduating from high school. He joined the CCC in the late 1930s and was stationed near Keosauqua. Prior to the outbreak of World War II, he was employed at Louden Machinery Co.

He served in the 8th Air Force during the war. He was discharged from service and returned to work at Louden Machinery Co. until his retirement in the early 1980s.
