DAILEYs celebrate 70 years

Kenneth D. and Delta "Susie" DAILEY will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Monday with a card shower.

The couple was married Aug. 31, 1939, in a private ceremony in Fairfield. They continued to reside in the area for the next 20 years, living in Batavia, Packwood and Fairfield.

Mr. DAILEY was a farmer and later the owner and operator of a gas station on the west end of Fairfield. Mrs. DAILEY was a homemaker and helped on the farm.

The couple relocated to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1959 where Mr. DAILEY was a driver for Shamrock Dairy. The couple retired in 1979 and moved to Magnolia, Texas, where they lived for 18 years. They now live in Rodgers, Ark.

They have two children: Jack W. DAILEY and wife Alberta "Lynn" DAILEY of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Janet I. DAILEY of Wimberley, Texas. They have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom reside in Texas.
