QUIGLEY Reunion

The desdendants of Charles and Laura QUIGLEY gathered July 12 at Chautauqua Park Shelter No. 2 for the annual family reunion.

A cooperative dinner was held at 1 p.m. with the afternoon spent taking pictures, visiting and playing games.

The four sons and four daughters of Charles and Laura QUIGLEY are now deceased, but Pauline QUIGLEY RODGERS of Fairfield has kept the tradition alive by acting as secretary and treasurer for 25 years.

Forty-eight relatives and friends attended the reunion. States represented included Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Indiana and 13 cities in Iowa.

QUIGLEY of Enid, Okla.; Max and Nancy QUIGLEY of Wapello; Brad QUIGLEY and Jane of Loogootie, Ind.; Laurie QUIGLEY, Dave SMITH, Jenelle SMITH and Alex and Austin QUIGLEY of Muscatine; Jeff, Julie, Jordan and Jacob QUIGLEY of Lone Tree; Jeff, Melinda, Z.J., Ryne and Colton BEEDING of Stanford, Ky.; Kenny and Mary QUIGLEY of Muscatine; Connie CHRISMAN and Viola GIDEON of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; Robert and Sandy QUIGLEY DAVIS of Crawfordsville; Asa and Mary RICKARD of Mount Union; Andy, Jessie, Haley and Jonah DAVIS of Wayland; Shirley QUIGLEY TOMFELD and Wayne ALLEN of Letts; Robert and Phyllis GIDEON of Creston; Pamela GIDEON of Creston; Sheila GIDEON and Misha JARVIS of Cedar Rapids; Josh FLETCHER of Muscatine; Debora WHITE of Danville; David, LouAnn, Emerald and Jedidiah BRUSTER of Mount Pleasant.
