KASKAs have 60th wedding anniversary celebration

Ardell and Lyola KASKA celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday with a family dinner at Top of the Rock Grille, followed by cake and ice cream at the family farm house.

Ardell KASKA and Lyola PEIFFER were married April 20, 1949, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cedar Creek. The marriage was presided by the Rev. Nicholas PEIFFER.

Mr. KASKA worked as a farmer, and Mrs. KASKA was a housewife. The couple has 10 children: Bob and Chris KASKA of Fairfield; Billl KASKA of Decorah; Don and Jackie KASKA of Fairfield; Mary Ann and Mike SKAGGS of Robins; Chuck and Cathy KASKA of Fairfield; Carol STONEBRAKER of Hollywood, Fla.; Joan and Fred RUESS of Golden, Colo.; Susan and Dale RUMER of Walford; Darlene KASKA of Denver, Colo.; Jim and Laura KASKA of Fairfield. They also have 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
