Out of the Past in Pictures

This 97-year-old photo postcard shows a 1911 view of Main Street in Batavia. Businesses on the west side of the dirt street included a grocery store and a lumber company. At the end of the block was a barber shop, complete with a barber pole. The postcard is from the collection of Gene Luedtke.
