ADAMs to mark 60 years with open house Sunday

Richard and Marlys ADAM of Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.

The ADAMs were married June 22, 1948, in Lake Andes, S.D.

The open house is being hosted by their children: David ADAM of Batavia, Kathy DAVIS of Enterprize, Ala., Suzanne KELLY and husband Bob of Huntington Beach, Calif., Nancy HORRAS and husband Jim of Fairfield, Shirley SMITH and husband Dan of Westport, Conn., R. Dean ADAM and wife Cheryl of Libertyville, and Doug ADAM and wife Cindy of Packwood.

The couple has 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
