BROKKEN, JEFFERSON FARMER, IS PINNED UNDER FALLING TREE

Fairfield, Ia,, March 14 - Ed. Brokken, residing seven miles east of Fairfield, was badly bruised Tuesday afternoon when a tree which he was attempting to chop fell upon him. He was brought to the Jefferson county hospital for examination but it was ascertained that no bones were broken. He was badly bruised all over his body.
