Narrow Escape from Drowning.
---Miss Mollie C. AXLINE had a narrow escape from drowning on Saturday last. She is teaching at the Elm Grove School, and her brother went to bring her home in a buggy. On reaching a small stream of water near that place, he found he could proceed no further with the buggy, and tying the horse, crossed on a log. On returning, the lady fell off the log into the water, and was carried a considerable distance down the rushing stream, but was finally rescued by her brother, and in a short time was able to come home, feeling but little the worse of her “ducking.”
