GLENDALE. Carl SCHNERINGER, Bradshaw, Neb., the only man to enlist from that little town, is the grandson of Mrs. VEBURG of this place; he comes of military antecedents, for his uncle Gus VEBURG, served in Co. E, Second, and his grandfather, Fred. SCHNERINGER, who was buried at Lockridge, served under Napoleon Bonaparte and also the Duke of Wellington.
