Eric COREY tells interesting story of Early Bethesda -- Church; grist mill; saw mill. "I think a man by the name of HOWARD, grandfather to E. A. HOWARD, had given the land, at least it was taken from his farm. HOWARD lived on the corner right east of the church, the buildings where he lived now being all torn down...."
