HAND WOVEN COVERLETS.... Little did this most industrious of men think his name would be enduring as time when with a dexterity and skill which would win the envy of the spider and the ant, he wove into his coverlets the inscription "Made by D. STEPHENSON, Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa".
