FIFTY YEARS IN JEFFERSON COUNTY... Samuel STEPHENSON, born Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England, 1827... buried in Lockridge.

Married Mary (WRIGHT) (GRAVES) July 5, 1858. To this union eight children. Those now living are: Richard, of Turtle Lake, N.Dak.; Mrs. Lyman DAVIS of this city; Alfred and Mrs. Theo SWANSON, of Pocatello, Idaho, and Mrs. Alex PETERSON of Rome, Iowa... The remaining children, Abel and Margaret, died in early age.
