OUR STREETS: It is gratifying to notice the improvements progressing on our streets. The Supervisors are busy in the work of grading, and will push the work on to completion as fast as hands will do it. The only fault we find in the crossings is that the blocks are too high. It strikes us that if they did not project above the surface of the ground it would be a better improvement; but we are not grumbling. We are glad to see that our "City Dads" have go-aheaditiveness enough to improve our streets at all.
