William MOYER enlisted Aug. 18, 1862, Co. H, 30th Iowa Vol. Inf. Reg.. Died of disease Oct. 24, 1863, Nashville, Tenn., buried in the National Cemetery there.

Note: Civil War Roster for the 30th IVI gives his death date as 24 Oct 1863, however the Veterans Administration Gravesite Locator gives his death date as 24 Nov 1863.
