Page 2, Column 3Mr. and Mrs. Charlie BOOTH of near Libertyville are observing their 50th wedding anniversary. Open house will be held at the Mt. Zion Church from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
Jennie BOWERS and Charlie BOOTH were married at the home of the bride's parents, Irvin and Emma STEWART BOWERS on Feb. 25, 1914. Both have spent their entire life in Jefferson County, moving to their present farm home, s.w. of Libertyville in 1926. He is a retired agriculturalist.
Four children: Mrs. Robert (Gladys) McDONOUGH, near Libertyville; Raymond BOOTH near Batavia; Mrs. Walter (Marie) ZUEHLKE, Eldon; and Mrs. Charles (Mineta) PRINGLE of near Fairfield. They also have eight grandchildren and three great-granddaughters....
