BALDING, Wm., Farmer, Sec. 4; P.O. Libertyville; owns 312 acres of land; native of Virginia, born in 1812; came to Iowa in 1851. Married Miss Lydia MITCHEM, of Ohio, in 1826; has four children living -- George F., born in 1841; Mary J., born in 1848; C., born in 1851; Wm. H., born in 1858.

Mr. BALDING married, second, in 1861, Mrs. Mary DONAHEY, of Fairfield, Iowa, native of New Jersey.

Mr. B. has a finely improved farm, with good buildings; has the finest orchard in the township, one apple tree measures six feet in circumference.
