WAR VETERAN, GEO. CRAFF, DIES IN LOCKRIDGE.
George Craff, the last member of Company E, 2nd Iowa Infantry, which served in the Civil War, died at the home of his brother in Lockridge this morning at 8:30. He was born in Ohio March 4, 1841, and came to Iowa in 1843. Survived by three children, Linus Craff of Des Moines, Fred Craff of Lockridge, and Mrs. Una Horton of Lockridge. He also leaves a brother Fred Craff of Lockridge, with whom he made his home for the past 8 years; another brother Chris Craff in Mt. Pleasant; and Mrs. Mary Hillgardener, of Weldon, and Mrs. Ina Mummert, of Galesburg, sister. His wife died 23 years ago.....
