PUMPKIN CENTER--A. KIRK, Jacob KIRK, W. H. SMITH and W. H. KIRK met at the Joseph KIRK home one day last week and spent the time cutting and splitting his wood and getting ready for the wood saw. By night they had quite a pile ready. Mr. Joseph KIRK, who is past 83 years of age, showed his younger generation that he was not down and out, by taking his ax and leading the way to the timber and there helped the entire day.....
