Page 195.GEORGE H. FRASHER was born in Licking Co., Ohio Feb. 9, 1845. His father Peter FRASHER was a native of Huntingdon Co., Pa., born 1806; married Miss Margaret CHILCOTE, born in same county in 1809. About 1840 they left Penn., and went to Licking Co., Ohio..... 8 children, 4 sons and 4 daughters: Oliver E., Co. K., 7th IVI, killed in battle of Resaca; John B., Co. C., 3 Wisc. Inf., died in Jefferson County, Iowa 1867; Rebecca B. first married Wm. C. PARKS who was killed by being thrown from a horse in 1871 near Germanville, Iowa; married 2nd, Wm. KINER and died June 23, 1887. Phoebe C. married Henry STAFFORD of Salina, Jefferson County, Iowa; Geo. H.; Lewis L., 8 Iowa Cav., killed accidentally 1863 while in service; Mary J. married Daniel HILLMAN now of Jewell Co., Kan.; Asenath F. living in Brighton. Mr. FRASHER died in 1857 while the mother is still living in Jewell County, Kansas....
