I am quite certain that your grandfather Andrew Failor was a first cousin of two Failor men who married two of my Braley great-grandaunts. They were Lucy Maria Braley who married Elmer Judson Failor in Newton and Agnes Florence Braley who married Harlan Justin Failor in Harvey, Illinois.

Elmer and Harlen were sons of Samuel Failor who had two brothers who also lived in Jasper Co., Benjamin Failor, MD, and Andrew Failor, b. 21 AUG 1821 in PA, d. Dec. 24, 1910 in Jasper Co., IA.

In this census Andrew Failor is the father of Andrew Failor born 1846 in Ohio...
