I am searching for my Grandmothers family Minta May Simbro born 7 Mar 1884 Iowa, died 26 May 1942 Whitefish Montana. I find a Minta Simbro located in the Washington Township, Jasper County Iowa, of the 1900 US Federal census, she married AC Hume year of 17 Jun 1906 in Iowa, perhaps around the Des Moines area. I know her father was Charles William Simbro he is found in the Federal Census 1880 Jasper county Iowa, but with no family ties, he died 21 Apr 1921 in Whitefish, Montana I find a Charles William Simbro married to a Florence Peppers year of 1881, in the LDS archives.
Any help tracing the family would be greatly appreciated. I assume Charles’s father originated in Ohio as reported in the 1880 census.
I find a Joseph Simbro married to a Mary, listed with 3 children John W born in Ohio and Mary Eliza born in Iowa also Jacob Jr born in Iowa of the 1850 census of Marion Iowa. (Not sure this is a direct part of the family)
