On the Jasper County web site, under Past $ Present of Jasper County, Iowa 1912 you will find a biography of Martin Adkins, son of James Adkins. Martin is a brother of Wyatt Adkins born 1825 in Wayne County, Kentucky.

Another source is the book Washington Young and His Descendants 1975, which shows Wyatt Adkins married to Rebecca. Wyatt's son Joseph was married to Eunice Parmley on September 29, 1878 in Jasper County, Iowa.
