Gone Beyond

On December 27th, Mrs. Charlee Hill died at her home in Malaka Township, after a severe and very painful illness. Mrs. Hill was born June 9th, 1860, and 6 days old at the time of her death and was therefore 35 years, 7 months, and 6 days old at the time of her death. Her maiden name was Eliza Scott. She was married to Mr. Charles Hill, February 26, 1892. When fifteen years of age, she united with the Methodist church. She was a good woman, a devoted mother and faithful wife, and a little child and husband are left to mourn her untimely death.
The funeral was held at Wittenberg church, last Sunday afternoon at one o’clock. It was conducted by the Rev. David Phillips. The sermon was preached to a crowded house.
